Quick Tips for Successful Maintenance of a Swimming Pool
Make it a routine, give your pool weekly attention and prevent problems from occurring.
Make brushing a regular part of your regiment.
Make sure your test kit is working properly, it should be less than a year old.
Keep chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium, and stabilizer in proper ranges at all times.
Other chemicals such as algaecides, clarifiers, etc, should not be part of your normal schedule. They have their purposes, but should be used only when necessary.
